Concept & Storyline:

Wheelchair Explorers is an incredible story of friendship, strength, and determination, proving that living, traveling, and even practicing extreme sports with a disability is possible.

Danilo and Luca met after an accident that changed their lives forever. Instead of letting their circumstances define them, they decided to travel the world together, challenging the idea of what is truly possible for people with disabilities. Their journey is a hymn to the love for life, filled with breathtaking destinations, emotional encounters, and inspiring moments.

The documentary takes viewers on an extraordinary adventure through some of the most magical places on the planet, where resilience and the spirit of exploration overcome every obstacle.

Due to the impact of this project, the concept evolved into a 20-episode TV series, later selected by Rai 3 for the travel program Kilimangiaro.
